Emma Schreenan - Creative Director

Emma Schreenan’s passion for flowers spans decades. Raised in rural Victoria, she forged an early connection to nature, from an early age Emma used flowers as her medium of choice to express creativity and spark authentic emotion. 

Much like the flowers themselves, both Emma’s skill and understanding of design is ever evolving and reflects her desire and focus on growth.

With over a decade of experience working in the Melbourne wedding, event and retail florist industry, it felt only natural for Emma to eventually return to the same business where she completed her apprenticeship: the iconic Strathmore Flowers, rebranded as Herbivore. 

Emmett D'Urso - General Manager

As Emma's partner, Emmett is unlikely entrant in to the world of floristry. A Geologist by trade, Emmett has degrees in Arts and Science. After working for 13 years in the Mineral Exploration industry, Emmett decided to return to Melbourne to assist Emma with the business. 

Whilst slowly learning the intricate ins and outs of floristry and learning lots of new skills from Emma, he's the marketing, process and technology brain behind Herbivore. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his two cats, Lenin and Freda, as well as nerding out on all things rocks!
