From Strathmore Flowers to Herbivore

The Herbivore story begins with legacy. Originally known as Strathmore Flowers, the business was founded by the mother of Lucas Stone (brother of chef Curtis Stone) and became a beloved neighbourhood florist in Melbourne's inner west. Emma began her floristry career at Strathmore, mentored by Lucas, where she honed her craft and developed a lifelong passion for floral design.

During the pandemic, Emma took the leap to acquire the business and evolve it into something new — honouring its roots in Melbourne's local floristry scene, while shifting the focus toward customised, design-led work for weddings, events, and creative collaborations. Herbivore Florals was born from that vision.
