We select stems based on what's freshest and in season — think ranunculus and tulips through the cooler months, garden roses and dahlias in spring and summer, or native textures like waratah for something a little more sculptural. Each vase is hand-tied by our florists with the same care that goes into our largest wedding installations, just scaled down to something intimate.

Do you offer store pickup?
Currently, Herbivore Florals operates exclusively as a delivery-only online floral studio servicing Essendon and 20km's from our Tullamrine Studio. We do not offer direct store pickup or over-the-counter retail sales.
Is Herbivore doing same day delivery?
By operating without a public retail shopfront, we focus 100% of our energy on sourcing fresh morning market blooms, hand-crafting arrangements, and delivering them directly to your door. We offer same-day delivery for orders placed before 11:00 AM up to 20 kilometres away for only $15.00 delivery.

Can I choose a specific delivery date?
Yes! You can select your preferred delivery date at checkout using our date picker calendar. We offer flower delivery Tuesday through Saturday across Melbourne.
For same-day delivery, please place your order before 11:00 AM on your chosen day. Orders placed after 11:00 AM will be dispatched on the next available delivery day. If you need to schedule an order well in advance for a birthday, anniversary, or special event, simply choose your desired date up to 30 days ahead during checkout.

At Herbivore Florals, we offer a straightforward $15 flat-rate delivery for all orders delivered within 20km of our Tullamarine studio. For deliveries beyond our 20km zone across greater Melbourne, delivery fees are calculated dynamically at checkout based on your exact postcode.
What happens if no one is home when my flowers are delivered in Melbourne?
If the recipient is not home to receive your Melbourne flower delivery, our courier will assess the location to ensure the blooms can be left safely:
- Safe Delivery Spot: If there is a secure, sheltered area away from direct sunlight, weather elements, and public view, our courier will safely leave your flowers on-site and send an SMS update.
- Unsecure Locations (Apartments & Units): If the property is inaccessible (e.g., locked gates or secure apartment complexes) or lacks a safe area, the flowers will not be left unattended.
- Contact & Redelivery: We will attempt to contact the recipient or sender to arrange a suitable resolution. If the flowers must be returned to our studio, a re-delivery fee will apply to ensure a fresh, hand-delivered re-attempt.
